In our conversation today, Tasia exhibits a heavenly perspective of life and is experiencing the comfort that comes when we act out of obedience and trust God with the outcomes.
It’s really easy to get caught up in trying to control outcomes because we have an earthly and human perspective. But as believers, we’re called to have a heavenly perspective. We go through things that will never make sense from a human standpoint, but from a heavenly standpoint make all the sense in the world. Those details aren’t always ours to know while we’re here. We have a choice to either get wrapped up in the unknown, or just surrender it all to God and go about living for him, trusting that he’s got it figured out, and living with the relief of knowing we don’t have to.
Heaven is going to be awesome. And if we realized how awesome it’s going to be, we wouldn’t waste our time trying to force life to make sense the way we want it to. We are literally incapable of coming up with something as awesome as heaven.
