The CrossFit Open was an exciting time for many, but probably the most excited group of people were adaptive athletes. CrossFit HQ introduced new divisions that allowed these athletes to compete for the first time in the Open. This opens the doors for them to compete at the Games in the future. We sit down with adaptive athlete Kevin Ogar, who is also an affiliate owner and CrossFit Level 1 and 2 Seminar Training Staff Member for CrossFit. Both he, and his wife Shannon placed third in their respective Open Adaptive Divisions.
We dive in to the history of the divisions, how they work, and the mindset of athletes. We also dive in to what God’s been teaching him personally. There’s lots of truth shared with a giant amount of love behind it.
